About Potlucks
Raw food potlucks is an opportunity to get to know other people involved in raw foods living and have an opportunity to ask questions, try out new dishes, and have fun! The people who typically come to raw food potlucks vary greatly in their diets — some have been 100% raw for many years, others may be trying out raw foods for the very first time, and others are any place in between.
What to Bring:
Because there are often “newbies” at the potlucks, I ask that if you are familiar enough with the diet to create a delicious, raw vegan prepared meal, you do so, so that people who are new to it can see what is possible with this amazing diet! Also, these events are about abundance; therefore, each person is requested to bring a prepared dish large enough that if eaten alone, it would completely satisfy 2-3 people.
Please provide a detailed list of ingredients, and the recipe, if possible.
If it’s your first time to a raw potluck, and you don’t know what to bring but are interested in coming, feel free to bring an organic salad with dressing on the side.
Also, please bring your own plates and silverware, and be sure to wash your produce well.
